Moving from Bucket Filling to #1 Awards for helping Fossil become the #1 School in the World
Fossil Hill has been a Bucket Filling school for many years now and we trust that the students will continue to ask themselves if they have filled a bucket today. We feel that they are ready to move on to help Fossil Hill become the #1 school in the world. To that end, they must become #1 students by being the best that they can be. This year, instead of Bucketfilling Awards, #1 Awards will be given at our assemblies. They will go to the student in each class that best demonstrates the featured theme of the month. The themes will be based on mindsets and the work of Covey as illustrated in his books, "7 Habits of Happy Kids". The theme for the month of October was celebrating a positive mindset.
